One Snowy Saturday

The "opportunity" to work nights, holidays and weekends has kept me from cheering at my kids' sporting events, a fact that I think they secretly are grateful for. Happily for me, Laurel — my other favorite child — had a skiing meet on Saturday over at Bunker Hills park, one of the county's treasures. This was the start and the finish of the relay races (That is not her in the photo). In the home stretch, the kids would shoot up out of that gully just behind that green thing and then circle around off to the left of the frame, re-entering right in front of me to tag the next skier.
