I finally got around to repairing Mr. D.'s sweater the other night. When I went diving into the main-floor stash, looking for the wee ball of
Black Water Abbey yarn, I came up empty-handed — or at least not with what I was after. I have no idea what these were used for:
I never did find the BWA, which I know is there somewhere. Being the Queen of Brown and Gray, however, I found a suitable stand-in: the Gaelic Mist yarn worked just fine. Five minutes later,
viola! the sweater is back in the rotation, just in time for January.
